Rosemeade Recreation Center - Carrollton

DDA has partnered with Recreation Centers since 2011 and enjoys sharing our passion for dance with the Carrollton community. Classes are now available. You can register online, over the telephone, (972.466.9800) or in person at the Rosemeade Recreation Center located at 1330 E. Rosemeade Parkway Carrollton, Texas 75006.

During our youth camps, classes, and workshops you can expect age appropriate curriculum, with emphasis on leadership, team spirit, as well as health and fitness. Each camp is taught by experienced and highly qualified DDA coaches allowing for a fun experience while spending time with Dynasty Dance Academy. * Add a DDA t-shirt for $25 and show off your dance moves in style!

PROGRAMS

Dynasty Dance Academy offers year-round classes that have a variety of different dance styles for various ages. Participants will refine motor skills, use creative thinking, learn dance terminology, and develop performance skills throughout each class.

INTRO TO BALLET (3-5 yrs)

This 30-minute class introduces basic ballet stretches, movements, barre exercises, and center work through creative movement. This class teaches rhythm, musicality, strength, and coordination through classroom activities. For class dates, times, and prices click here.

BEGINNING BALLET (6-10 yrs)

This class builds on basic ballet stretches, movements, barre exercises, and center work. Children are introduced to the structure and discipline of a ballet class, basic ballet terminology, and creative expression through movement to music. For class dates, times, and prices click here.

BALLET & TAP CLASS (4-7 yrs)

This class is designed to develop rhythm, style, and sound. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knees and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. For class dates, times, and prices click here.

HIP-HOP CLASS (6-12 yrs)

In this class, we explore hip-hop skills, technique, current dances, fresh beats, and swag. For class dates, times, and prices click here.

*NEW* Dynasty Dance Academy Ballet Folklorico (6-12 yrs)

This class focuses on ballet folklorico movement, culture, rhythm, technique, and performance skills. Parents will enjoy a fun show off at the end of this session. Ballet shoes and Folklorico Flamenco shoes required. Attire: ballet leotard and ballet shirt (any color).
